Seaway Go 'Colour Blind' for Sophomore LP, Premiere New Video

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 19, 2015

Oakville punks Seaway have revealed that they're about to deliver a new full-length LP for New Damage Records. Their sophomore set is called Colour Blind, and it makes its way to retailers October 23.

While New Damage had issued the Canadian pressing of the band's All in My Head EP in 2014, this will be the outfit's first full-length for the imprint, and first LP since their 2013 debut, Hoser.

The new album features 12 new tracks, with the first tune to be previewed being "Freak." You can sample the outsider anthem in a new, VHS-fuzz laden lyric video.

"'Freak' is about being an outcast and a weirdo, but being completely okay with it," Seaway singer Ryan Locke said in a statement, adding, "The video accompanying the song is archived footage that our friend Miguel Barbosa of YEAH! Films fame shot during our high school years. Back then we would run a muck of parties that we snuck into because we were too weird to be invited to. Outcasts of the world, don't be afraid to let your freak flag fly."
