Edmonton's Scenic Route to Alaska — the trio of childhood friends Trevor Mann, Shea Connor and Murray Wood — have announced their seventh studio album, led by new single "Call It a Coincidence."

Lasts Forever arrives on April 11, following 2020's Time for Yourself and 2018's Tough Luck. The band recorded live off the floor at Studio Bell, tucked away in Calgary's National Music Centre, which gave them access to an incredible wealth of gear — including Randy Bachman's vintage Stratocaster and Neil Young's 1958 amp, affectionately known as "old nasty."

The record marks Scenic Route to Alaska's first time producing themselves, with Mann recording all the vocals in Wood's basement, which they dubbed the Jazz Café. Lasts Forever pays homage to an old neon sign that provided the only source of light in the vocal booth.

Nostalgic lead single "Call It a Coincidence" burns with that elemental glow, as Mann reflects on moments of feeling the presence of lost loved ones in everyday life. Hear it below, where you'll also find the full album tracklist.
