Storied singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan has taken a break from her admirable mission to rescue all abandoned online shopping carts to get back to her day job as a touring musician: she has announced plans for a special new acoustic show, set to take place at Caesars Windsor this summer.

On July 9, she'll bring An Intimate Evening with Sarah McLachlan to the Colosseum Stage, with a setlist spanning highlights from her 30-plus years of artistic output — dating back to her 1989 debut album Touch. Since McLachlan burst onto the scene, she has sold over 40 million albums worldwide, won three Grammy Awards and 12 Junos, as well as having been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

The cozy performance at Caesars Windsor will follow the musician's headlining set at Ottawa's RBC Bluesfest, scheduled for July 7.

Tickets for the intimate Windsor concert go on sale Friday (April 22) at 10 a.m. ET via the Caesars website or Ticketmaster, the latter hosting a presale beginning Wednesday (April 20). A section of seats are also reserved for frontline healthcare workers.
