Said the Whale Perform "Lucky"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 26, 2012

Vancouver, BC indie-popsters Said the Whale are getting ready to release their follow-up LP to 2009's Islands Disappear. Fans got a taste of new material with the band's New Brighton EP in September, but will be glad to know that Little Mountain is ready to drop on March 6 via Hidden Pony/EMI.

Said the Whale stopped by the Tranzac in Toronto to perform a couple tracks from the album for an exclusive Exclaim! TV session. We've already shown you the quiet charm of "Lover/Friend" and now you can check out another performance from the West coast musicians of "Lucky." This one is a little more upbeat, with a catchy hook and infectious hand-clapping. Both "Lucky" and "Lover/Friend" will appear on Said the Whale's new album Little Mountain.

Watch their performance of "Lucky" in the video above.

If you're going to be in Austin, TX for South by Southwest, make a note to catch Said the Whale at the Scene 1425 / Exclaim! day party on March 17 at Spill Bar.
