Indie pop crew the Ruby Suns recently offered up some details on their upcoming fourth LP, Christopher, which is apparently "chock full of high-fi, meta-disco, and headphonic roller-skating jams." Now, the outfit have announced that they'll be heading over our way to promote the set on a North American tour.
A press release lays out some worldwide dates and notes that the tour begins just before Christopher's late January due date in Oslo, where leader Ryan McPhun landed in late 2010 to craft the set. The North American dates start up in the middle of February and will have the act hitting up Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal along the way. You catch all the details down below.
The Ruby Suns have also just unveiled a new video fro previously teased album cut "Kingfisher Call Me." The outdoorsy video for the synth-spiked slow jam finds a hirsute woodsman choppin' trees and shoveling a steamy pile of earth, and also manages to toss a creepy dog puppet in the mix. You can check it out beneath those dates.
As previously reported, Christopher arrives January 29 in North America via Sub Pop and a day earlier overseas through Memphis Industries.
