Ron Sexsmith coyly shuffled onto the stage alone, putting on a strong but sweet set of crowd favourites like "Strawberry Blonde," "Beautiful View" and "These Days," the single he joked about seeing on MuchMoreMusic. As he joked about his abilities on the piano, he switched instruments halfway through the set, showing that his self-criticism was nothing but bashfulness. Speckled throughout were songs from his forthcoming rarities disc, which he compared to a garage sale. He also talked about the second anniversary of the World Trade Centre attacks, which fell on the night of the show, and how his side project, the Kelele Brothers, grew out of his want to play music that he loved after the tragedy. This sentimental moment was followed up by a beautiful rendition of Randy Newman's "I Don't Wanna Hear It Anymore."
