Ontario's Riverfest Elora has announced plans for a 2021 mini-festival. The event is called Wish You Were Here, and it will take place across three nights — August 20, 21 and 22 — in the yard at the Elora Centre for the Arts.
The lineup features Haviah Mighty, Kardinal Offishall, the Trews, Crown Lands, the Barr Brothers, GRAE, My Son the Hurricane, AHI, Royal Castles, Middlebrook and Wolf Saga.
There will be 430 tickets available for each day, with the audience set up in socially distanced boxes of four. Tickets go on sale this coming Saturday (July 24) at 10 a.m. There will also be a presale for Elora locals starting today. Ticket information is available here.
While this is smaller than the festivals Riverfest Elora has been throwing in recent years, this is actually a return to the event's origins. The Elora Centre for the Arts is the site of the very first Riverfest back in 2009.
Meanwhile, Riverfest Elora has already announced a 2022 festival at Bissell Park, running August 19 to 21.
