Ringo Starr has shared a new single titled "Here's to the Nights" from his upcoming EP, Zoom In, which was recorded in lockdown.

Written by Diane Warren, the song features the vocals of Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper, Lenny Kravitz, Jenny Lewis, Chris Stapleton, Joe Walsh, FINNEAS, Corinne Bailey Rae, Yola, Toto's Steve Lukather and Black Pumas' Eric Burton, as well as Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' Benmont Tench on piano, among others.

"When Diane presented this song to me I loved the sentiment of it," Ringo said in a statement. "This is the kind of song we all want to sing along to, and it was so great how many wonderful musicians joined in."

He added: "I wanted it out in time for New Year's because it feels like a good song to end a tough year on. So here's to the nights we won't remember and the friends we won't forget — and I am wishing everyone peace and love for 2021."

Zoom In arrives on March 19 via Universal.
