Rick Ross got into a dust-up last weekend in Vancouver, when his concert ended with a group brawl as Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" played over the sound system. He was initially blasé about the whole thing and simply said, "Vancouver it was fun," but now he's addressed the incident directly.
In a selfie video shared on his Instagram Story yesterday (July 4), Ross described being confronted by a group of men after he got off stage.
Ross claimed, "I told him what I said — basically, 'Wherever I hit you, I'mma see everything you ate for the last two days.' His balls dropped out of his ass. He never said another word. He never did nothing. He was a straight busta. Then the n— behind him said, 'I know MMA!'"
He was then punched — although Ross said it felt more like being hit by a drink, rather than a fist. He said, "Throwing a drink would have been way more disrespectful than 'I know MMA!'" The clip ends with him giving a smooch to the camera.
The video has since been shared by various sources, including WorldStar Hip Hop — where nearly all of the commenters have pointed out that Ross's version of events doesn't resemble the video footage that was captured of the incident.
