Hard-working Toronto rapper Rich Kidd previously teased his In My Opinion mixtape with "Syke" and the issues-laden "I'd Be Lying", but starting today (April 16) you can grab the whole thing for free.
According to Rich Kidd, the bulk of the 19-song set was whipped up "at my crib, in my boxers and under the influence," with a number of the verses dipping into personal territory. While "I'd Be Lying" features a DJ Dahi beat and "Early" was produced alongside Prezident Jeff, Rich Kidd otherwise handled the soundscaping.
"This is an introduction for most and to some, a continuation of me being me: thoro, witty and crass," he said in a statement. "And I also get to represent a new generation of young Canadians who aren't afraid to let you know where they're from. This ain't a balling ass, trapping ass, shoot em up record though it may contain elements of that from my perspective."
