Though the YMCMC Rich Gang banner has more recently been focused on the work of Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug — particularly their excellent Tha Tour, Part 1 mixtape — the moniker can apply to anyone on the label. Today, Juvenile has shared a Rich Gang track.
Signed with Cash Money in the past, Juvenile had a falling out with the label. This melodic pop-rap anthem marks his official reintroduction to the imprint.
"With re-signing Juvenile, I just wanted to write songs and write everything," Birdman said in a statement. "I'd been working with him, but I just felt like we never had the right introduction for him. When the song came about, I felt like, 'This is perfect. It's a perfect way to bring you back with us on a certain plateau, on a big platform.'"
