These veteran California funk rockers were the subject of a question on Jeopardy! last night (July 19), but no one got it right. Who are the Red Hot Chili Peppers?

A question about the band appeared in the Double Jeopardy! round, under the category "Musical Menagerie." The clue was, "In a song mentioning the Hollywood Hills, the Red Hot Chili Peppers sang 'True Men Don't Kill' these wild canids."

The answer, of course, is "Coyotes," but no one got it right.

To be fair on the Jeopardy! contestants, "True Men Don't Kill Coyotes" is far from the most famous Red Hot Chili Peppers song. It has the dubious distinction of being the best song from their worst album, as it's the opening track from their self-titled 1983 debut. Check out the music video below.
