Raphael Saadiq Returns with First New Album in Eight Years

'Jimmy Lee' features contributions from Kendrick Lamar, A Tribe Called Quest's Ali Shaheed Muhammad and more

Eight years removed from releasing his Stone Rollin' album, Raphael Saadiq has returned with a new solo album.

Titled Jimmy Lee, Saadiq's latest arrives August 23 through Columbia. Thirteen tracks in length, Jimmy Lee was recorded and produced by Saadiq at North Hollywood's Blakeslee Recording Co. You can find the album's artwork above.

A press release reveals that the album features contributions from Kendrick Lamar, A Tribe Called Quest's Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Brook D'Leau.

Alongside the announcement, Saadiq has shared first single "Something Keeps Calling," which you can hear below.
