Toronto's RALPH has shared a new single called "Gasoline," her first since the release of last year's Gradience EP.
In a statement about the slow-burn ballad, RALPH said:
Oof! This song was a true labour of love!! I wrote it 4 years ago during a songwriting camp deep in the jungles of Nicaragua, during a period where I was also deeeeep in my feelings. I told my writing group, "No one should ever love me, cause I'll burn them down…my love's like gasoline." And that was it.
I've never felt so connected or attached to a song in my life, and I'm forever grateful for my family and friends who texted me the word "gasoline" in the hopes I would listen up and save this one from the song cemetery.
Listen to "Gasoline" below.
