Just because Raekwon's #TBT series is done, that doesn't mean that the Wu-Tang rapper will be resting on his laurels. He just released a freestyle based on Dej Loaf's new single "Try Me."
This track is anchored by the twinkling, dreamily laid-back beat from "Try Me," and it starts with Dej Loaf's vocal hook. Between that intro and the extended chatter of the outro, Rae's rapping only takes up about a third of this track, but he's sure to please fans of both nutrition and Canadian sports when he rhymes "broccoli" with "hockey."
Take a listen below.
The Wu-Tang Clan's album A Better Tomorrow drops on December 2 through Warner Bros. Records.
