Queensryche

Q2K

Queensryche and Metal Church are both highly successful Seattle-area bands that started in the ’80s. While Queensryche are undoubtedly the more successful of the two, with sold out stadiums and top ten radio singles in their past, both were well known in their day. And both have fallen onto hard times during the ’90s. Queensryche were dropped from their major label a few years back, while Metal Church have, more or less, just fallen off the face of the earth. Both have become names nearly forgotten and their new albums may not remedy that. Q2K sees Queensryche try to overachieve and forget where it was they came from. The band has created an album far to busy for itself with too much effort devoted to attitude and not enough to ambience.
