Rather than give listeners another ugly Christmas sweater this holiday season, Queens of the Stone Age have announced plans to offer up a new Christmas single instead.
The two-track single features Josh Homme, Dean Fertita and Australian blues songwriter C.W. Stoneking covering "Silent Night" on the A-side, while the B-side finds Homme and the Distillers' Brody Dalle reading "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" with "their three little elves" (a.k.a. their children).
The single will arrive digitally on December 7 before receiving a 7-inch vinyl release on December 14. You can find its artwork below.
Proceeds from the single will benefit Homme's non-profit Sweet Stuff Foundation and Australia's Support Act.
The limited-edition single is available for pre-order on vinyl here.
