Just like everyone else last year, Purity Ring were forced to put their tour plans on hold because of the pandemic. Back in July when things were looking like they might take a turn for the better, the band optimistically rescheduled their North American tour for this April. With gathering restrictions still in place, the Canadian outfit have postponed their dates yet again — but this time it looks like the tour may actually happen.

Purity Ring have rescheduled their extensive 43-date tour to kick off this September 15 in Colorado. They'll make their way through the western part of the continent, with stops in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Saskatoon throughout October. After a few more stops south of the border, they'll play a pair of shows for Toronto and Montreal in November, before heading south again, to later wrap up back in California.

"As many of you have already guessed, we have had to push the dates for our U.S. April tour," the group wrote in a post. "It seems soon but we are hoping this will be the last and final time we have to postpone."

The band will tour in support of WOMB, which was released almost a year ago via Crystal Math/4AD, following the release of multiple singles from the record.

In addition to their tour announcement, they've also shared a new music video for the album's "sinew." Watch that below, where you can also find their 2021 tour schedule.
