Prince's estate continues to crank out physical reissues of his recorded work, and the next titles set to arrive in the series have been revealed.
This April, Prince's 2001 album The Rainbow Children and 2002's One Nite Alone... will both come to vinyl for the first time, along with live albums One Nite Alone… Live! and One Nite Alone… The Aftershow: It Ain't Over!
All four titles will officially arrive on April 17 via Sony Legacy. The Rainbow Children is set to arrive on clear vinyl, while the One Nite Alone albums will be pressed to purple wax.
The albums, initially released through his own NPG Records, marked Prince's first releases after reverting his name from the "Love Symbol" following a legal battle with Warner Bros.
Each album is available to pre-order now. Prince's site has also treated The Rainbow Children to a standalone CD reissue, while the One Nite Alone albums can also be had as a 4-CD/1-DVD set with concert film Prince Live at the Aladdin Las Vegas. You can revisit "Pop Life" from that performance below.
Another of Prince's studio albums could be reissued as part of Record Store Day 2020. The Grammys paid tribute to the late music icon late last month.
