Toronto punks Pkew Pkew Pkew have signed to Dine Alone Records. As if that weren't enough, they've just unleashed their first track from their new label home.
Dubbed "Passed Out," the new song is out now digitally, as well as on 7-inch vinyl. As the band puts it, the song is a "blistering ode to knowingly wasting your life away."
In addition to the main tune, the 7-inch also features B-sides called "Beer Stick 'N' Ched" and "Acceptable Spectacle." Grab a copy here.
The group will be taking the stage at the Horseshoe Tavern tomorrow night (September 15), opening for the Hold Steady. Frontman Craig Finn even helped Pkew Pkew Pkew work on some of their latest songs.
"You know in school when you can hand your work in early, and the teacher will read it and give it back to you, and then you can really hand it in? It was kinda like that," Pkew Pkew Pkew's Mike Warne joked in a press release.
Following the hometown opening slot, the band will head stateside for a run of shows. See those dates here.
