The long-awaited posthumous solo album from A Tribe Called Quest's Phife Dawg is due to arrive next week, and Forever's artwork and tracklisting have now been revealed.
The 13-track Forever will see release March 22 via Smokin Needles Records/AWAL, marking six years since Phife Dawg passed away at 45 years old of complications from diabetes.
Its cover art (seen above) highlights Linden Boulevard, where the late artist grew up, and the New York street named in his honour, Malik 'Phife Dawg' Taylor Way.
Forever's tracklist reveals contributions from Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, Redman, Maseo and Posdnuos of De La Soul, Little Brother, Rapsody, Illa J, Dwele and more.
Production, meanwhile, comes courtesy of 9th Wonder, J Dilla, Nottz, DJ Rasta Root, Khrysis, Potatohead People and more.
Forever follows Phife Dawg's solo debut, 2000's Ventilation: Da LP. The album was executive produced by Malik Taylor and DJ Rasta Root, and co-executive produced by the Estate of Malik Taylor and Daniel Schacht. The artist's ATCQ group mate Ali Shaheed Muhammad mixed both "Nutshell Pt. 2" and "French Kiss Trois."
Earlier this year, A Tribe Called Quest were nominated for 2022 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
