Pennywise

It may be true that nothing in life is as certain as death and taxes, but no punk band is as consistent and dependable as Pennywise. On their eighth studio release, the SoCal torch-bearers for political melodic aggressive punk that defines the "Epitaph Sound" give us 14 tracks of exactly what we've come to expect. While that may sound like a band stagnating and unable to develop, there's something comforting in knowing that in a world where Good Charlotte are passed off as rebellious punk rock, Pennywise is there to put things in perspective. And that kind of reliable reality check is enough to make up for the predictability of the music.
