Patti Smith recently celebrated the release of Banga, her first studio album in eight years. Now she's out supporting the record, of course, stopping by Letterman last night (June 12) to perform the album's title track.
She rocked out to this song and had a great backing specializing in dog howls. "Say, Banga," was yelled out during the chorus. It had a classic punk feel to it, and was nicely refreshing.
