Montreal-based producer Pascale Mercier ruminates on the exultant, beatific and communal nature of dance music on her latest Pascale Project EP, Be Urself. Be Urself is Mercier's sophomore release, following up 7AM, which arrived courtesy of the Alabama-based Noumenal Loom imprint. This time around, she's found a home on the adventurous Orange Milk Records, a label notorious for pushing genre boundaries, although it's a relatively tame release for the imprint.
