Toronto synth-pop three-piece Parallels are set to release their third studio album. Titled Metropolis, the new record will arrive on February 17 through the Marigold Label.
The 12-song collection features the previously shared title track off the band's 2015 Civilization EP, as well as a slew of new tracks. "Heart of the Wild" is the next one ready to be shared by the band, and you can get an exclusive first look at it's accompanying video right now.
The clip depicts the story of a man attempting to capture and tame the spirit of the wild. "In the video, a man is literally trying to find the 'spirit' and through her, find freedom for himself," singer Holly Dodson tells Exclaim! "He wanders the desert, until he finds himself lost in the woods…but it seems the spirit only exists in a parallel world."
