An unsanctioned, untitled song of Palms, the side-project of Deftones' Chi Moreno and former members of Isis, arrived in February, but now the offshoot are offering up a proper preview to their self-titled debut: "Patagonia."
The track definitely flirts with the softer sides of the artists' other acts, from the slow and textured post-rock soundscapes to Moreno's all-too-tranquil vocals. You can hear him sweetly unfurl a tale about demons lurking in space, among other scenarios, down below.
Palms' self-titled debut was produced by the band and mixed by their own own Aaron Harris, and it arrives June 25 via Ipecac Recordings.
