Festival season is upon us, and Ottawa's CityFolk has announced the details of its 2022 edition, which comes to Lansdowne Park for two three-day stints: September 8 to 10, and September 15 to 17.
Confirmed performers so far include Kathleen Edwards, Orville Peck, Sarah Harmer, Black Pumas, John Fogerty, JJ Wilde, Matt Andersen, Shovels & Rope, the Glorious Sons, Whitehorse, the Record Company, the White Buffalo, Tim Hicks, Tré Burt and Zach Bryan.
"It's been a long time coming, but we're delighted to finally be able to roll out a lineup of fantastic live acts," CityFolk's Mark Monahan said in a statement. "We're grateful for the ongoing support we've seen over the years and we hope that this year's high-end slate of performers will be viewed as a reward for the patience music fans in Ottawa have shown in recent years."
A ticket pre-sale has begun today; it runs through tomorrow (June 22). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday (June 23) at 10 a.m. They will be available here.
