Supporting his forthcoming sophomore album God Said No (out June 28 via Warner Records), R&B singer-songwriter Omar Apollo has announced a world tour. The North American leg is set to include a couple Canadian dates in Toronto and Vancouver this fall.
Joined at select dates by a rotating cast of supporting acts — including Toronto's own Maylee Todd, Kevin Abstract, and Ravyn Lenae — Apollo will kick off the run on July 15 in Melbourne, Australia. The North American leg of the tour gets underway starting August 20 in the artist's home state of Indiana ahead of the first Canadian performance, schedule for September 4 at Toronto's Budweiser Stage.
After weaving his way back into the US, Apollo will make his second and final visit to Canada on September 29 to play Vancouver's Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre. He'll later wrap up the string of shows on October 11 in San Diego, CA.
Tickets go on sale next Friday (June 14), following various presales beginning June 11 at 10 a.m. local time. See the full itinerary below.
