Olivia Rodrigo has been covering Avril Lavigne's 2002 hit "Complicated" at her shows this year, and last night (April 29) at Toronto's Massey Hall, the two performed the song together.
Rodrigo brought Lavigne on stage a few songs into her set. Wearing near-matching plaid skirts, the two shared lead vocals, with Lavigne handling the first verse and Rodrigo the second. Naturally, the two were practically drowned out by the crowd signing along.

Rodrigo will perform again at Massey Hall tonight. It's unclear if Lavigne will make another guest appearance.
Earlier this year, Lavigne spoke with Exclaim! about her influence on Rodrigo and other young artists. "These women are incredible songwriters. I love what they're doing in music and the impact that they're having," Lavigne said. "I think they're also very authentic, and that's why they're connecting with such a big audience."
