Indie rock lifers Okkervil River recently announced their forthcoming album The Silver Gymnasium, and now they've shared a lyric video for the album cut "It Was My Season."
The clip is set, appropriately enough, on the stage of a school gymnasium, where lyrics are projected onto a nature scene that brightens and darkens over the course of the song. As for the tune itself, it's a bouncy piano rock number with an undercurrent of lyrical sadness.
