New Cursive Album Out in March

Following a brief road trip last month, Cursive have announced the due date of their sixth full-length. Via Saddle Creek, the Omaha art punks will release their long-in-the-works Happy Hollow follow-up on March 10, giving it the title Mama, I'm Swollen and this dark bit of bleeding-moon imagery for the cover.

Recorded by Saddle Creek's usual go-to sound guy Mike Mogis in Omaha, NE, the album brings "a fluid amalgamation of the band's sound past, present, and future," the press release tells us, with the group's resident storyteller Tim Kasher this time weaving tales out of such very Cursive-like subject matter as the human condition, social morality and the Peter Pan syndrome of grown men.

And while Cursive plan to spend most of spring and summer on the road, for now they only have a few tour dates lined up south of the border. Here they are, as well as the record's tracklisting:

Mama, I'm Swollen:

1. "In the Now"
2. "From the Hips"
3. "I Couldn't Love You"
4. "Donkeys"
5. "Caveman"
6. "We're Going to Hell"
7. "Mama, I'm Satan"
8. "Let Me Up"
9. "Mama, I'm Swollen"
10. "What Have I Done? "
