Murder City Devils Announce Very Limited Vinyl Box Set

As Sub Pop gears up to give Murder City Devils some much-deserved reissue treatment, the band have announced they're stepping things up a notch by way of a new vinyl box set.

Titled Feather Bed Whiskey Blanket, the Seattle group's self-released, limited-edition set will include all of Sub Pop's upcoming vinyl reissues of MCD's albums - The Murder City Devils, Empty Bottles, Broken Hearts, In Name and Blood and the Thelema EP - along with some very limited, very one-of-a-kind items.

According to a post on MCD's website: "Bundled in a custom-made package with a button and string closure, each set will be hand-numbered and contain one of a kind photos, stencils, posters and other pieces unique to each set. Who knows, you might end up with rare promo photos, press stickers, outtake/live photos, studio notes, sketches, old set lists, old backstage passes, Gabe's electric bill... anything from the massive MCD archives that can fit into a flat 12-inch box."

However, there will be only 275 copies of the Murder City Devils box set pressed and those will only be sold on the band's upcoming West coast tour. Being the generous guys they are though, the band are giving all their fans a shot at scoring a copy of Feather Bed Whiskey Blanket through a new contest set up here on the group's website.

As previously reported, Sub Pop's individually pressed Murder City Devils reissues will be due out February 17.

Here are all the band's upcoming box set-enhanced tour dates:

2/11 Seattle, WA - Showbox
