Morrissey Showed Up to 'Corden' Wearing His Own Merch

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 8, 2018

Morrissey was the musical guest on the Late Late Show with James Corden last night (November 7), and he used the opportunity to take self-promotion to the next level.

In addition to performing his admittedly awesome cover of the Pretenders' "Back on the Chain Gang," Moz did so while wearing his own tour merch.

The shirt had his own name splayed across it, but at least it was a picture of James Dean's and not his own face taking up most of the space.

Moz was accompanied by his band, whose members all sported matching "Living bodies that actually move" tees — inspired by a line from "Jacky's Only Happy When She's Up on the Stage."

"Back on the Chain Gang" will appear on the deluxe version of Low in High School, which is due out December 7.
