Back in September, Animal Collective dropped Isn't It Now?, their 12th studio album that included the 22-minute whopper "Defeat."
Now, Philly experimentalist Moor Mother has shared a remix, or as she describes it, a "collage," of the entire album, condensing its hour-long runtime into a delirious four minutes.
Alongside the Isn't It Now? collage, she's also shared a new track called "One for Archie" — which appears to be a tribute to legendary avant-garde jazz saxophonist Archie Shepp — featuring jazz musicians Nicole Mitchell and Nduduzo Makhathini.
Moor Mother released her latest full-length, Jazz Codes, in 2022. Check out the tracks below.
