The members of Montreal-based four-piece Pif Paf Hangover played music together for a number of years before forming a band. They subsequently released an EP a few years back, and now they're ready to drop their debut full-length. Curry Love is due out on March 18 via the Good People Records.
The album was co-produced by the band along with David Laurendeau. Contributors include Monogrenade cellist Marianne Houle, plus singers Audrey Emery, Amylie, Myëlle and Warren Slim Williams.
The result is described in a press release as a "marvelous mix of indie, pop, rock and electro." For a taste of this, the futuristic poppy album cut "Whatever Works" is streaming at the bottom of the page. The album cover is above.
