Some Satanic sneakers from Lil Nas X have everyone — including the Nike corporation — freaking out this week. But one person who seems to be loving the shoes is Miley Cyrus, who bought herself a pair and modelled them on Instagram.
Miley took a sunny photo shoot with the sneakers, writing, "Can you see Satan?" as a caption while posing on an old Jeep. The controversial Air Max shoes once again spiced up the comment section, with some people saying they were unfollowing her for repping them.
The Lil Nas X shoes, which were created to promote his "MONTERO" single, are not officially endorsed by Nike. Instead, they're a limited edition edit made in collaboration with the art collective MSCHF. They include a drop of human blood in each pair.
As previously reported, Nike is now suing MSCHF over the Satan Shoe. The filing's complaints include trademark infringement, false designation of origin, trademark dilution, and common law trademark infringement.
None of that seems to affect Miley, however, who appears to be loving her new purchase.
