After sharing a slew of singles over the past year, MICO has officially announced that his forthcoming EP The Tears We Fight is set to arrive on September 13.
The Toronto-based pop up-and-comer took to Instagram today to share the news, promising that there will be a depth to his third EP that his previous "collections of songs about girls or little 4 a.m. rabbit holes" didn't contain.
"Every ounce of me has gone into this EP and I haven't been more proud of anything in my life. This is the first time that I can say that this project isn't made for you. This one is for me," he said.
It's not a coincidence that MICO is dropping The Tears We Fight in mid-September, just days before he embarks on his North American tour — concertgoers should expect the project to make up the core of his setlist.
