Lost Boys

BY Rob FerrazPublished Jun 1, 2001

This collects all the AT releases of this '80s hardcore quartet, plus compilation appearances, unreleased and live tracks. Originally from Las Vegas, they relocated to Southern California in 1981. Their style falls in line with much of what was coming out of SoCal at the time - melodic without sacrificing energy. The 37 songs on here were recorded between 1980 and '85 and show the band's progression from pissed off tunes like 1982's "I Hate Hippies" and "Angry Youth" to the more melodic "Murder in a Foreign Place" EP recorded in 1984. The booklet includes a band history, discography and liner notes from Jello Biafra. An interesting bit of hardcore history.
