While the Menzingers are getting ready to dominate stereo speakers around the globe this spring with the release of Rented World, the Pennsylvanian punk outfit will be focusing their attention on the North American club scene for their first batch of dates in support of the album.
A press release reveals that the trip starts up roughly a month after Epitaph puts the set in stores April 22, with a tour opener taking place in Providence, RI. Over a month's worth of dates takes place beneath the U.S. border between May and July, but there is a Canadian stop thrown in the mix as well. The Menzingers play Toronto's Opera House on June 3.
You'll find all of the show specifics down below.
As previously reported, Rented World is the group's follow-up to 2012's On the Impossible Past. It was recorded at Miner Street Studio in Fishtown, PA, with Jonathan Low (Kurt Vile, the War on Drugs, the National) and is said to be marked with the sounds of emo, '90s grunge and post-rock.
