A year ago this week, eclectic Toronto songwriter Maylee Todd released her vintage-sounding, disco-influenced single "Hieroglyphics," and now she's dropped another danceable cut with "Baby's Got It."
The song was recorded by James Anderson at 6 Nassau Recording Studio in Toronto. It was mixed by Leon Taheny and produced by Todd herself, and features an energetic, retro-tinged performance from her live band.
The singer said in a statement, "It's an upbeat jam expressing confidence and freedom, celebrating your sexuality and bringing people together in a spirit of unity."
It's officially due out on December 3 through Do Right! Music, and you can pre-order your download right here. For the meantime, stream it below.
