Maximo Park Cancel Entire North American Tour

If you were getting all geared up to go see Maximo Park on their upcoming North American tour, bad news: all the band's Canadian and U.S. dates have been cancelled.

The Warp signees have given no specific reason as to why they are axing the tour, only saying it is due to "personal reasons." The UK outfit broke the news to fans via a hand-written note, which reads:

"We regret to inform you that, for personal reasons, we've had to cancel our tour of the USA and Canada, which was planned for September. We wholeheartedly apologise to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us perform and we will do everything we can to reschedule the shows. We've always enjoyed visiting North America in the past and bitterly disappointed to be missing out this time. When we return it will be with as much passion and energy as ever."
