Celebrity chef Matty Matheson has announced plans for his very own music and food festival. Matty Fest will go down in Toronto on September 7.
The one-day event will take over RBC Echo Beach and feature performances by Wu-Tang Clan, Descendents, Gogol Bordello, Danny Brown, METZ, Turnover, Standing on the Corner, Jennifer Castle, Daniel Romano, Chastity, Young Guv, Ruby Waters, Dear-God and Luna Li.
In addition to music, the festival will boast food from some of Matheson's favourites like American pitmasters Billy Durney, Pat Martin and Sam Jones. There will also be food by Agora, Balam, Buca, Canis, Cheese Boutique, Cherry Street Bar-B-Que, Chez Tousignant, Donna's, Famiglia Baldassarre, Five Points Hot Chicken, Imanishi Japanese Kitchen, Kungfu Dawg, Le Bremner, Le Swan, Maison Publique, Maker Pizza, Matty's Patty's, Osteria Rialto, Pinky's Ca Phe, Porchetta & Co, Skippa and Superpoint.
