Matthew Good and Our Lady Peace are currently bringing Can-rock nostalgia across the country on a Canadian tour, but things took a scary turn onstage last night (March 27) in Edmonton when Good collapsed during his performance.
Playing at the Jubilee Auditorium for the second night in a row, the singer was three songs into his set when he collapsed and was carried off stage.
OLP frontman Raine Maida came out and told the crowd that Good had been battling a bout of pneumonia. He reportedly stayed onstage and led the crowd in giving Good a "big hand for even getting up there."
Good's team confirmed the cause of the collapse via Twitter, adding that he had been taken to hospital "as a precautionary measure."
So far, there haven't been any official schedule changes to the three remaining shows on the tour. Good and Our Lady Peace are scheduled to perform tonight in Prince George, BC, followed by tour-ending shows in Kelowna (March 30) and Abbotsford (March 31).
UPDATE (3/28, 11:50 a.m. EDT): Tonight's show in Prince George has been postponed by one day. It will now take place on March 29 at the CN Centre. All tickets previously purchased will be accepted, and those who are unable to attend the rescheduled show can inquire about refunds via TicketsNorth.
Maida posted a message on Instagram, wishing Good well and saying, "Fortunately, he's doing well, has his sass back and we don't expect too much disruption on the last leg of this tour."

As Raine said on stage tonight, Matt's been under the weather recently, but still wanted to go on with the show. Unfortunately he couldn't carry on with the performance, and as a precautionary measure he has been taken to the hospital. We'll keep everyone updated.
