Matthew Good and Our Lady Peace are currently bringing Can-rock nostalgia across the country on a Canadian tour, but things took a scary turn onstage last night (March 27) in Edmonton when Good collapsed during his performance.

Playing at the Jubilee Auditorium for the second night in a row, the singer was three songs into his set when he collapsed and was carried off stage.

OLP frontman Raine Maida came out and told the crowd that Good had been battling a bout of pneumonia. He reportedly stayed onstage and led the crowd in giving Good a "big hand for even getting up there."

Good's team confirmed the cause of the collapse via Twitter, adding that he had been taken to hospital "as a precautionary measure."
So far, there haven't been any official schedule changes to the three remaining shows on the tour. Good and Our Lady Peace are scheduled to perform tonight in Prince George, BC, followed by tour-ending shows in Kelowna (March 30) and Abbotsford (March 31).

UPDATE (3/28, 11:50 a.m. EDT): Tonight's show in Prince George has been postponed by one day. It will now take place on March 29 at the CN Centre. All tickets previously purchased will be accepted, and those who are unable to attend the rescheduled show can inquire about refunds via TicketsNorth.

Maida posted a message on Instagram, wishing Good well and saying, "Fortunately, he's doing well, has his sass back and we don't expect too much disruption on the last leg of this tour."

Being a touring artist comes with incredible rewards but id be lying if I said it doesn't also have its challenges. Yes ...we get that euphoria of performing night after night. We get to experience great cities and cultures and for the most part are pretty much catered to all along the way but...We also go long stretches away from family, missing birthdays, kids basketball games, holidays. We rarely get proper sleep jumping from tour buses, to hotels to airports & because of this often become run down & see our immune systems compromised. Tonight in Edmonton AB we saw the affects and stress of touring take its toll on our good friend @matthewgoodgram as he collapsed on stage 10 minutes into his set. He was rushed to the hospital immediately. The fact that Matt even went on stage tonight is a testament to him as an artist, literally suffering & risking his health for the show. It's strangely fascinating how, as artists, we never want to disappoint our fans. Matt lived that tonight & paid with his health. He has two beautiful children at home that need him to help build LEGO masterpieces so if we have to postpone the tour...so be it. Fortunately, he's doing well, has his sass back and we don't expect too much disruption on the last leg of this tour. Thoughts & prayers headed to you @matthewgoodgram. Literally. We're on our way to the hospital my friend.
