This year, Canadian music staples Matthew Barber and Oh Susanna (aka Suzie Ungerleider) are each rolling out their sixth official LP. To support those releases, the two songwriters will be teaming up for a joint cross-Canada tour.
In June, the pair will be heading from coast to coast, playing shows as far-reaching as Vancouver and Halifax. There are currently a total of seven dates, with more expected to be announced soon.
The co-headlining jaunt is being called the "He Said, She Said" tour, and it promises to offer plenty of colorations between the pair. Of his tourmate, Barber said, "She's a captivating singer and evocative songwriter and I'm thrilled to be hitting the road with her."
Ungerleider added, "I am excited to get on the road and perform my new songs to fans old and new. To be touring Canada with the handsome and talented Matthew Barber adds extra sparkle to it all."
Oh Susanna's Soon the Birds is available now via Outside Music. The same label will release Matthew Barber's self-titled album digitally on May 31 and physically on June 7.
