The villainous misfits of Suicide Squad officially hit movie screens this Friday (August 5), but some of the comic book adaptation's musical mayhem has been sliding out early. The latest soundtrack song to leak mixes big-bearded rapper Action Bronson, "Uptown Funk" phenom Mark Ronson and the Black Keys' Dan Auerbach.
Titled "Standing in the Rain," the track was premiered today (August 2) through Zane Lowe's Beats 1 program. It begins with a throwback soul beat, gospel backups and some bluesy lick-slingin' from Auerbach, who also delivers the song title in the hook. Bronsonlino raps about being a pillow fight-favouring playboy, having money on his mind and more.
You can sample the track, as well as a brief chat between Lowe and Ronson about the genesis of the song, down below. The full Suicide Squad soundtrack, which also includes work from Grimes and Skrillex, hits stores on Friday.
