Mariposa Folk Festival Announces 2020 Lineup with Mavis Staples, John Prine, Kathleen Edwards

The Ontario fest's 60th edition also features David Francey, Moscow Apartment, Dwayne Gretzky and more

The long-running Mariposa Folk Festival is set to celebrate 60 years of music-making this summer, and organizers have now shared the complete lineup of acts set to play their 2020 edition.

Taking place July 3 to 5 at Tudhope Park in Orillia, ON, festival headliners include Mavis Staples, John Prine and Kathleen Edwards.

They'll be joined by Dwayne Gretzky, David Francey, Moscow Apartment, Tré Burt, DalaYoungtree & the Blooms, Celeigh Cardinal, the Small Glories, Hussy Hicks, Marla & David Celia, Moontricks, Moskitto Bar, Ocean Alley, Diyet & the Love Soldiers, Okan, the Pairs, and Rup Loops.

Mariposa organizers have also announced a pair of concerts next month to heat things up ahead of festival season.

On March 15, Lynn Miles, Valdy and Suzie Vinnick will celebrate Mariposa's milestone year with a performance at the Five Points Theatre in Barrie, ON, while festival favourites Union Duke will perform at St. Paul's Centre in Orillia on March 28.
