Phoebe Bridgers Teams Up with Jackson Browne for New Version of "Kyoto"

BY Josiah HughesPublished Mar 9, 2021

The last we heard from Phoebe Bridgers, everyone was in a tizzy after she smashed her guitar on SNL. While bitchy boomers like David Crosby were absolutely pissed about the stunt, she hasn't lost that generation entirely. After all, legendary singer-songwriter Jackson Browne has hopped on a new version of "Kyoto."

The pair recently sang the Punisher at the 2021 Tibet House US Benefit Concert, but now they've shared a studio version of the collaboration.

The song appears on Bridgers' new Spotify Singles EP. Its B-side is a cover of John Prine's "Summer's End," which features backing vocals from Maria Taylor.
