Shock rock veteran Marilyn Manson may not come across as scary or out-there as he once did, but he's still finding new ways to freak us out. The latest is a gruesome picture of his reattached ear after a particularly nasty bar fight.
Taking to his Twitter over the weekend, Manson was short on details, though he did admit that he nearly lost his ear completely in a fight. "I was hit by a glass table in a dangerous fight. I was however, the victor but had to have 24 stitches to keep my ear from becoming Van Goth," he wrote.
While having him reinvent himself as an artist named Van Goth would be damn entertaining, we're happy to report that his ear is okay. Manson went on to post the above photograph of his stitched up aural cavity.
With his ears in place, Manson is set to tour much of Canada in support of his Born Villain album next year. The dates are available below.
Tour dates:
1/28 Montreal, QC - Metropolis
1/29 Oshawa, ON - General Motors Centre
1/30 Hamilton, ON - Hamilton Place Theatre
2/1 Sudbury, ON - Sudbury Arena
2/4 Winnipeg, MB - MTS Centre
2/5 Moose Jaw, SK - Mosiac Place
2/6 Saskatoon, SK - TCU Place
2/8 Calgary, AB - Stampede Corral
2/9 Edmonton, AB - Shaw Conference Centre
2/11 Vancouver, BC - Queen Elizabeth Theatre w/ Slash
