A man is in life-threatening condition after being stabbed at a Pusha-T concert at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall, police have revealed.
Pusha-T's Tuesday (November 20) tour stop in the city was interrupted after audience members began throwing liquids and attempted to rush the stage. Multiple videos shot by concert attendees show security and audience members engaging in struggles with security.
CBC News reports that after the fighting ended, a man walked himself to a nearby hospital with serious stab wounds. Investigators determined that the man was stabbed "in either the initial fight or another fight that may have occurred afterwards."
"He's in bad shape," said Const. David Hopkinson.
Police have not publicly named the man who was stabbed or identified a suspect. CTV reports that at least five other people were injured in the altercation.
No charges have been laid, but police are now actively investigating the incident. They are asking any witnesses with cellphone video or other footage of the incident to please come forward.
In the wake of the incident, Live Nation has cancelled tonight's performance by comedian Shaun Majumder at the Danforth Music Hall "due to an ongoing police investigation." Tickets for the show will be honoured for its new date of February 24.
As previously reported, Pusha returned to the stage shortly after the incident to perform "Infrared" — the song that is credited with igniting this year's beef with Drake — before the show was cut short. The rapper suggested onstage that Drake had paid off the group to disrupt the concert.
