Miami synthpop duo Magdalena Bay have just been signed by New York City-based record label Mom+Pop Music, where artists like Maya Hawke and Tom Morello call home.

Magdalena Bay's creative live performances have been making impressions since they started — on everyone from Flume to Porter Robinson and Danny L Harle — and now, Michael Goldstone, the founder and co-owner of Mom+Pop Music, has also taken notice.

Goldstone said in a press release, "At M+P we're always striving to work with uniquely gifted talented artists…Magdalena Bay touches all of that. Their art, music and live performance grabbed us from minute one. Now 18 months later we're thrilled and fortunate to have become their recorded music partner. We can't wait to see what comes next."

This comes as Magdalena Bay finish up their first-ever US headlining tour, which included a stop at Coachella. They will be performing at Lollapalooza later this summer.

"We're so excited for what the future holds! The next stage, the next phase is here," the band shared.
